Offered by DMA Yachting, the breathtaking charter yacht Epiphany is a 56 ft sailing catamaran. The main attractions of Epiphany are her most appealing features and culinary experience. Epiphany spends the summer and winter season in Antigua. She was delivered by the renowned boatbuilder Bali Catamarans in 2023. The expansive yacht layout features 5 large cabins and comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests.

Epiphany is introduced primarily as a sailing catamaran. The yacht layout radiates from the main saloon, which connects to the aft deck. The aft deck is generous, with a prominent dining and seating area and that's where the guests spend most of their time. The tasteful cabins are located below the main saloon, connected by stairs (inquire about handicapped access). The cabins are connected by stairs to the main saloon - roomy, comfortable and pleasant. Multiple portholes add to the feeling of connection with the discovered environment.

Beyond sailing, Nick is an enthusiast of various water sports, including free diving, surfing and fishing, always eager to introduce guests to new ways of enjoying the ocean. An avid rock climber and runner, he brings boundless energy and enthusiasm to every trip.

With a natural flair for making guests feel at ease, Nick is dedicated to ensuring everyone aboard experiences the thrill of sailing. His love for the ocean and sense of adventure is contagious, making every journey aboard his catamaran an unforgettable one. Whether you’re a seasoned sailor or a first-timer, Nick is passionate about passing on his knowledge and ensuring everyone leaves with lasting memories and a newfound love for the sea.

Chef Mercédes.

Mercédes was born in Haarlem, the Netherlands, and grew up close to the sea, where the untamed winds and powerful waves of the North Sea shaped her adventurous spirit. Initially pursuing a dream of becoming a prima ballerina, she studied at the Dutch National Ballet Academy and later danced with a company in New York. Despite her success, Mercédes felt compelled to a new path and returned to the Netherlands to study modern dance and choreography, as well as being irresistibly drawn to the sea.

Her love for the ocean led her to the marine industry, where she began working as a hostess and chef aboard yachts, combining her passion for wellness with the art of hospitality. Sailing through the Mediterranean, Mercédes crafted experiences that nourished both body and soul, drawing on her expertise in yoga, Pilates, and wholesome living to curate menus and environments that promote health and well-being.

Mercédes’ journey into wellness naturally extended to food, as she became passionate about the power of nourishing the body through mindful food preparation. In recent years, she took her love for cooking further, working on various yachts throughout the Mediterranean, where she blends her knowledge of wellness with her culinary creativity. As both a hostess and a chef, Mercédes connects deeply with people, ensuring that everyone she serves feels cared for, nourished, and inspired to embrace a wholesome lifestyle.

Perfect Trip
We had the most amazing time aboard Epiphany with Nick and Angella. The sailing was fun and Nick was so patient with our 10 year old son who was in love with boating. The food was amazing. Beautiful Culinary Results
We cannot overstate our appreciation for Angella's attention, hard work, and both tasty and beautiful culinary results. Our trip diary will include many photographs of her food because her plating was often gorgeous. To start, we were not an easy group to cook for. We had a number of dietary restrictions, and one especially picky eater. Angella cooked exactly to our needs, always conscientious to exclude or substitute particulars for the picky one. Angella was extremely well organized, enabling her to pack her boat with appropriate fresh fruits and vegetables for a 21 meal week. What she churned out of a limited boat kitchen was extremely impressive. Dishes were extrememly diverse, ranging from Thai lemongrass soup to chocolate lava cake to ceviche tacos with fried sweet potatoes and tzatziki sauce (trust us, it was a fantastic combinations!)

When Angella wasn't actively cooking (and cooking took up many hours daily), she was actively researching recipes, preparing cooking notes, tidying up the boat, and asking what else she might prepare for us. Between the three hefty meals a day, she brought out cheese platters, veggies and dips, and now her famous mojitos. In other words, Angella was busy from early mornings to late at night kitchen clean ups. Probably most appreciated was Angella's always friendly nature and welcoming smile.
