Price Terms
Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see
Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).
All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.
The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).
For a motor yacht like BLACKSHEEP, the expected APA is 25% to 40% of the charter price ($21,250 - $34,000), making the charter cost $106,250 to $119,000. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.
You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).
The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

Chief Stewardess - Emma Pittard
Nationality: South African
Languages: English
Emma, our chief stewardess on Black Sheep, was born in the small town of Port Elizabeth, South Africa but recently relocated to the beautiful and scenic town of St Francis Bay. She was raised by a close-knit family of seafarers and avid fishermen, so this wise ewe is no stranger to the seas.
After graduating from university with a Bachelors Degree in Education, Emma went on to move to Dubai where she focused on teaching Maths & Science at a high profile private school to the eager and inquisitive youth of today. Although she thoroughly enjoyed her time there, she quickly realised that she needed to
finally fulfill her lifelong dream of seeing the world by means of the ocean. Following in her grandfather, father & brothers’ footsteps, Emma jumped ship from the teaching world to join the world of yachting. So, rest assured, your kiddies will be in the perfect hands from the time they step on board to the time her and her crew wave you all goodbye!
Our Emma is humble and gracious but has a wealth of knowledge about hospitality. She has designed tables, run events and provided exceptional silver service to some of the worlds top 10 UHNW families.
Yachting perfectly merges all these passions, and she is now on a mission to create bespoke, unforgettable memories for her guests aboard Black Sheep.
As the chief stew, Emma is a teacher and mentor who is passionate about doing good and being kind to everyone she meets. Her dream is to purchase property in the near future as well as to develop and build a gorgeous and chic home that over looks the river on her land she has bought in St Francis Bay.
Her ultimate goal is to ensure that her guests leave Black Sheep feeling as though they have experienced something so special that they can't wait to return.
Her life motto is: “All our dreams can come through if we choose to pursue them.”
Second Stewardess - Kala Pretorius
Nationality: South African
Languages: English
This ray of sunshine hails from the Cape Winelands of Stellenbosch, South Africa. With sweet, kind eyes and a calm, gentle temperament, she may seem unassuming, but she's a creative wolf in sheep’s clothing, waiting to unleash her
prowess at every opportunity.
Not only is she a graduate in textile design, but she also holds a degree from fashion school. Raised by a close-knit family with strong values of hard work, patience, and service to others, you can rest assured knowing Kala is onboard.
This stewardess has massive dreams of running her own puppy café called the "French Pug." Her love for animals, especially dogs, knows no bounds, and she is that friend who must greet every critter that crosses her path.
In addition to all of this, she's a hip-hop dancer and a devoted Justin Bieber
fan, her dream charter guest. Fingers crossed. Sporty as well, she is the full package, having played field hockey and earned her South African cheerleading colours while representing her province. At 22, she is already a proud homeowner, starting to build her nest, but before she settles down and starts a family, she wants to see as much of the globe as possible.
Kala has generously volunteered her time in Swaziland (now known as Eswatini), working with children in impoverished communities. Humbled by their poverty and inspired by their resilience, she channels her love for people
into her dream of creating a better world for all. I could go on and on about this little lamb, as her spirit brings this flock together. She's our trusted favourite ewe. Watch this space; this stewardess is well on her way to becoming chief
one day.
Her life motto is: “If you want something said, ask a man. If you want something done, ask a woman.”
Mate - Marcel De Villiers
Nationality: South African
Languages: English
You know when a Blacksheep hails from a town in South Africa called Welkom, which means WELCOME! He was born for the hospitality industry. This small town is landlocked, so as soon as Marcel saw the ocean, he was
hooked and set his sights on making a career at sea. With a father who’s a chief engineer and an uncle who’s a captain, it was inevitable that Marcel’s love for travel and the maritime industry would be strong—it runs in his wooly
DNA. His family has now relocated to Florida, setting down roots in the US of A.
This adventurous ram has traveled to over 30 countries, and besides his love for the Bahamas, the green pastures of Positano on the Amalfi coast in Italy are places he could return to repeatedly. Marcel is a fishing maniac, so set
aside time to go out with him and catch the specialty of the day. Chef will be sure to fillet and prepare it for your pleasure.
Being first mate means he’s second at the helm, and that makes us feel very secure that our flock and our amazing guests are safe and sound at all times. He’s also the friendliest, most bleat-iful morning person you’ll ever meet.
So, expect to see this ram around and about at sunrise.
Not satisfied with his heart being divided between Africa and the US, his dream is to buy a home in both countries, settle down, and have 2.5 lambs and a white picket fence.
So, whether you’re looking to fish, explore, or just enjoy the voyage, Marcel is your go-to guy. he’s utterly unforgettable!
His life motto is: “Grow through what you go through.”

Reviews
Alright crew this is our official sign-off before we disappear back into the land of normal people and grocery shopping ...
First we’d like to thank you all for the chaos, the laughs, and squeezing the last of the coffee out for us (we apologize for X’s coffee consumption)...
Emma - Absolute Rockstar of a chief stew. You had our drink orders down to a T, sorry we didn’t create more chaos for you to deal with. Our biggest cheerleader & best tour guide ashore. You are truly iconic.
Kala - The sweetest human ever. Dessert service & post dinner with you will be dearly missed along with any & any answer to all our questions.
Marcel - Thank you for being so kind & funny + willing to answer so many random questions & giving elite banter. We learned things we didn’t know we needed to know & might we add the best pack mule on off-shore excursions.
Estian - Special shoutout to E-dog :), who we all know will absolutely demolish the last of the birthday cake - no hesitation, no remorse, just crumbs, frosting & a smile. Thank you for always being down to drive the dingy full of people that have a strange obsession with the tinniest boat of the week. ❤
Chef - You’ve got talent, thank you for making every meal at the table a memorable one, fighting for the first place in our hearts & palettes. Just know whenever we go next, we will be dissapointed in the food and it will absolutely be your fault.
To the Captain - Thank you for being the most chill while simultaneously crushing our dreams of swimming with sharks after dark. Apparently “it will be fine” is not an approved safety briefing.
Thank you do very much for making X’s birthday week so special!
Love you all. Don’t get arrested, don’t sink the boat, and please - someone keep an eye on any
loose cake!

Broker Feedback:
Captain and crew are wonderful to work with and BLACKSHEEP has become a go to booking boat for me. Thank you.
Growing up near water front places gave me my love for the ocean. I’ve been to a ton of beaches and islands, more than I can recall. And that’s just how it is. Some places you visit, and some places you remember. The Blacksheep is the second kind. I’ve made memories on this boat that I will never forget. Everything from the crew to the sand was perfect in every way.
Chef’s food was as flavorful as the water was blue, blowing us away with every bite. Kala and Emma made this vacation feel like another home with the kindness they brought with every interaction.
Marcel and Estian worked their asses of to entertain and retain our happiness the entire trip
(those sea bobs are amazing).
And The Captain is an Asshole (jk we loved you Captain).
Best trip ever!
Guest Two:
Thank you for the most epic trip ever! We loved every minute and appreciated all your hospitality. We will never forget our gorgeous week on the Blacksheep.
Guest Three:
Where do I even start, we had the most amazing week aboard the Blacksheep, we drank, we partied, cried from laughing too much, we used all the sea toys - go use the sea bob it’s the most fun, we ate 5 star Michellin meals, from the one and only.
We were catered to like barons by Kala, she’s amazing, makes the best grilled cheese, Emma was very helpful and would add to that sense of “oh I wouldn’t recommend it” but then we’d do it anyway, Marcel is a funny dude and definitely warms up the more you talk to him. Estian, NOT Estiban lmao, he was super cool to be around, especially when we went to go fishing.
Overall, we had the most amazing and spectacular adventures and experiences aboard and
we will be coming back, all love to the crew & tb, haha
We loved our British Virgin Islands journey on Blacksheep. The most special, magical, and joyful trip ever - Thank you Captain and Crew!
Guest Two:
The crew is the best! We loved our week aboard the Blacksheep! Thank you to Captain Shelton, Estian, Marcel, Emma and Kala for the best time!
Happy Birthday to Chef Q and thank you for feeding us. ❤
***December 28 to, 2025 to January 4, 2026***
Our experience on Blacksheep sparked many joyous water adventures, profound conversations, and shared laughing fits.
We appreciated the encouragement to try new experiences and food from the crew + chef Quentin.
It felt so lovely to have the support to customize the menu. Our favorites were the veal, lobster, potatoes, soup and burger. Chef took especially good care of X an Y.
We also loved Emma + Kala’s cheerful personalities, decorative creativity and warm support.
Captain, Estian + Marcel were non-stop FUN. And safety tips were lovely.
I am so thankful for the hike on the 5 peaks island!
Thank you for making our first yacht trio so meaningful!
Cherish for a lifetime! Much LOVE
Broker Feedback:
The experience that you had working with the Captain prior and during the Charter. Captain Shelton du Preez is quite new to the yacht (1-2 months) but seems to have settled in very well. We found him to be very professional both in advance (helping to finalize our itinerary) and during the charter (setting each day's activities, deciding when to change location, etc.).
Your experience with the crew. Emma Pittard is a very experienced Chief Steward and was very attentive to our needs. She helped arrange all of our land-based dining and transportation which all went quite well. Kala was also very good in supporting Emma and making sure we were comfortable. Marcel and Estian were good and were particularly helpful in arranging the water activities and making sure everyone was safe
Favorite thing about the yacht. The overall atmosphere of the yacht was quite fun and upbeat. The decor and the Blacksheep merch added a nice touch and made it feel like we were part of a community. The fact that all but one of the crew were South African made it feel like they were a unified Blacksheep team.
Chef & cuisine. Chef Quentin did a great job. He was able to accommodate all of B's food sensitivities without excluding her or making entirely separate dishes for her. So most of the time it felt like we were all eating the same thing. The range in his cooking was quite broad so he was able to keep the meals interesting and not repetitive. His portion sizing was excellent and with each meal we left feeling satisfied but not overstuffed. The Christmas Eve and Christmas Day special menus worked out well.
Any highlights or “wow” moments from the charter. Saint Barth was a new experience for us and we're really glad we experienced it from a yacht, since the landside can be quite crowded and chaotic. It was great to be able to relax on Blacksheep and go onto the island when we felt like it. When we were in Crocus Bay, Anguilla we quite enjoyed our excursion to "Sandy Island". It's just a remote sandbar but swimming up to it and going to the beach bar was quite enjoyable.
Whether you’d recommend BLACKSHEEP for future charter. We would definitely recommend BlackSheep to others. The yacht had everything we needed and the crew made it function really smoothly. An unusual aspect of BlackSheep that really worked for us was that it only has 4 rooms and a capacity of 8 guests. We're a family of 5 and didn't really want to invite another family to try to fill up a 10-12 guest yacht. So with just the 5 of us we were able to use all 4 rooms and during meals and activities the yacht felt "just right" in terms of its size for us.
All the best for the busy holiday.
My clients thoroughly enjoyed their time aboard BLACKSHEEP and had a wonderful experience overall.
Captain Shelton was excellent to work with - professional, communicative, and accommodating. He ensured everything ran smoothly and tailored the charter to my clients’ preferences, which they greatly appreciated.
The crew was fantastic, with Emma, the chef/stew, especially standing out. She went above and beyond to ensure the yacht was well prepared for a last-minute charter, including having a baby seat for the car, a high chair, a crib, diapers, and other essential items. The team was friendly, attentive, and welcoming, creating a relaxed atmosphere throughout the charter. My clients felt very well cared for from start to finish.
They found BLACKSHEEP to be well maintained, comfortable, and well equipped with plenty of toys to enjoy, and they especially loved the jacuzzi. One of the Sea-Doos did stop working, but it did not take away from their overall enjoyment.
The only area where they felt there was room for improvement was with the chef, specifically during the birthday dinner. They felt there may have been a slight misunderstanding regarding their request, and while the food was good, it wasn’t quite what they had outlined in their preferences. They also mentioned that the chef engaged in a bit more conversation than they would have preferred during the meal. Other than that, everything was great.
Working with Rod and yourself was seamless and easy, with clear and efficient communication throughout, especially given that this was a last-minute charter.
Overall, it was a great charter, and I would absolutely recommend BLACKSHEEP for future charters. I look forward to working with Worldwide, BLACKSHEEP, and the crew again.
Thank you all so much!
Smiles
Thank you so much for having us. Can't wait til next year!
