Offered by DMA Yachting, the astonishing charter yacht Steeling Time is a 100 ft motor yacht featuring a hot tub. The most attractive features of Steeling Time are her well-chosen interiors and interconnection with the sea. Steeling Time spends the summer season in Antigua. She was constructed by the well-known ship builder Azimut in 1996. A well-done refit was completed in 2023. The spacious yacht layout features 4 cozy cabins and easily accommodates a maximum of 10 guests.
Steeling Time is classified as a superyacht. The prominent section of the yacht, generously sized aft deck, leads to the attractive and sleek main salon. The main saloon is a comfortable space to spend time when the aft deck might not be as desirable (at port, private conversations) and offers a range of entertainment options. 4 tasteful cabins are thoughtfully spread out for maximum privacy and comfort.
The motor yacht features Catepillar 1350hp engines and a generator.

Steeling Time is undergoing a complete refit that started in July 2023 and will have a completely new interior, water toys, and has 3 queen cabins for guests and a bunk cabin with 2 over/under single bunks for 4 guests ideal for 4 kids or 2 adults. ● Embarkation 12PM / Disembarkation 12PM

Meet the crew for the 2023/2024 season!!
Kathryn and Ramon's journey began in beautiful Puerto Rico. Their destinies intertwined when they crossed paths, Ramon, a seasoned captain and Kathryn, a brilliant cook with a love for the open water. Both with a passion for sailing, they bought a boat and embarked on countless seafaring adventures reveling in the tranquility of calm seas and facing the fury of tempestuous storms. They discovered hidden coves, pristine beaches, and exotic islands. Each new destination enriches their connection to the world and to each other. After Kathryn settled with Ramon in the Virgin Islands, over the last few seasons, they have had the privileged opportunity to share their adventures and culinary art with their guests and build unforgettable charter experiences. They are excited to continue their journey and adventures with you and welcome you aboard the exquisite Motor Yacht Steeling Time.
Captain Ramon
Ramón is a highly seasoned maritime professional boasting more than 30 years of extensive experience. He holds a 200-ton US Coast Guard Captain's license. Raised in the coastal environment of Puerto Rico, he developed an intimate connection with the sea from a young age, spending his formative years engaged in activities such as sport fishing and professional surfing, competing on a global scale.
As he transitioned into adulthood, Ramón embarked on a career in the marine industry. His impressive résumé includes roles in sport fishing programs and as captain on both large sailing vessels and motor yachts. His expertise extends across diverse waters, encompassing the Caribbean, Atlantic, Mediterranean, and South America. He is particularly well-versed in navigating key ports of call in the Caribbean, New England, and Bermuda.
When not at sea, Ramón indulges in a range of oceanic pursuits, including surfing, free diving, sport fishing, and spearfishing. He is also an active participant in ocean racing events such as the Newport-Bermuda and Marion-Bermuda Cruising Yacht Races. Ramón delights in sharing his captivating maritime stories and occasionally taking the helm to offer his guests an unforgettable nautical experience.
Chef Kathryn
Chef Kathryn is a registered nurse with a deep love for water and an enduring connection to aquatic activities. Her childhood in Central Florida was filled with surfing and fishing, and as she entered adulthood, she embraced the world of sailing. In recent seasons, her passion has led her to exciting endeavors, including competitive racing in regattas on the Chesapeake Bay, engaging in sport fishing, and serving as crew on private yachts. These opportunities have taken her on countless nautical journeys, spanning from the Caribbean to the eastern coast of the United States.
Beyond her maritime pursuits, Kathryn's passions extend to culinary arts and hospitality. Her extensive travels have exposed her to a diverse range of culinary influences, shaping a unique and deeply personal cooking style. She dedicates herself and takes pride in crafting fresh, sea to table, farm to table, wholesome and delightful meals tailored to the perfect atmosphere for each dining experience.
When she is not at sea, Kathryn cherishes moments spent with her three children, family, and friends. Her interests extend far and wide, encompassing travel, camping, fishing, hiking, skiing, biking, attending concerts, golfing, and maintaining a fitness regimen. She eagerly anticipates the opportunity to extend her warm welcome to you on board and share her love for food and water.
